Mohamad Saad is a Professor of Organizational Studies with a demonstrated history of working in the training, consultancies, and higher education industry. He is skilled in strategic management, planning, negotiation, budgeting, analytical skills, team building, and organizational research. He has a strong education and professional background with a PhD degree in organizational behaviour from Portland State University and Cairo University. He also has an MBA focused in management technology from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Applied Statistics and Econometrics. Professor Saad’s research focuses on work values, workplace violence, workplace stigma, workplace harassment and discrimination, quality of work life, leadership styles, decision-making skills, crisis management, conflict resolution, personality traits, and gender and cultural issues. ​

SHADIA S. FAHIM is a Professor of English Language and Literature and is the principal investigator on this project from the Egyptian side. She has extensive experience at both National and International Universities. She worked closely with The President and the Vice-Presidents to contribute to the strategic development of BUE with specific responsibility for the management of the Faculty, the design and delivery of the Faculty’s strategic and operational plans, policies and procedures that assure and maintain UK validation and Egyptian academic standards throughout BUE’s undergraduate provision. She also contributes to the promotion of cross-cultural understanding and development of Egypt and the MENA via leading the community service offered by the Faculty. ​ She has also published in the area of the development of education. Prof. Fahim is also the BUE representative in the International Network New Initiatives and Challenges in Europe (NICE Network) a consortium of 45 higher education institutions across Europe and a member of their annual meeting.

Dr. Muhammad Rana is a full-time academic tutor and a leading researcher at UCEM. He has previously worked with the University of Wolverhampton, the University of Salford, and Highways England on various projects in the UK related to highway maintenance, simulation modeling, and lean construction. During the last four years, Dr. Muhammad Rana has won several research funding grants totaling up to £600k from the Innovate UK, Qatar National Research Fund, British Council, Harold Samuel, Salford University, Highways England, and CIB on various topics of Sustainability, Gender Equality, Off-site Construction, Energy Efficiency, Water Management, and Environmental Resilience. Dr Rana is currently leading 3 British Council funded Projects on Gender Equality in Brazil, Pakistan and Vietnam. He has previously delivered similar 3 projects in Jordan and Egypt sucessfully.

Professor Lee has an extensive academic career spanning over 25 years. After successfully completing her PhD with no corrections in 2002, she now has a Chair in Process and Performance Management in Construction. She has previously held Associate Dean roles in Research; International; Enterprise; Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI); and Head of Department roles at the Universities of Salford and Huddersfield. She joined UCEM in April 2022 to support the growth and development of research, including research degrees. She has published over 300 journal and conference publications based on her research, including 6 books, and has managed numerous externally funded research projects to successful completion.
